A Math (pronounced Muh-t, whith an emphasis on the t sound, with a flick of the tongue against the gums)  is a center of spirituality, religion and learning. In the GSB culture, there are four main Mathas; Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math, Shri Kashi Math Samsthan, Shri Chitrapur Math and  Shri Samsthan Gowdapadacharya Kaivalya Math. These four Mathas serve as guides for the GSBs, and are visited to attain knowledge and blessings.
